Brief Introduction
The Wandering Earth tells the story of the sudden acceleration of the conversion of hydrogen into helium inside the sun, and the human race is facing the catastrophe. The nations cooperate to form a government and decide on a grand plan for 2500 years: to build a planetary engine to push the Earth out of the solar system. However, "the tides caused by the acceleration of the Earths engine engulfed two-thirds of the large cities in the Northern Hemisphere, and the global heat caused by the engine melted the polar glaciers." Faced with the threat of death, human beings become pessimistic and helpless, and the doomsday mentality breeds. But after more than three hundred years of the Earths undisturbed wandering, people found that the sun had not changed, and began to suspect that the "wandering Earth" plan was just a coalition government plot. Eventually, rumors and suspicions ignited rebellions that spread across the globe. Just as the people were dancing for the victory of the uprising, the suns helium flash erupted.
